Pastor's Testimony

My Spiritual Background

I wanted to share a brief overview of my spiritual background with you.

I grew up in a christian home and attended church every Sunday. If I were asked when I knew and loved God, I would probably have answered that "I had always known God." I was raised in a denomination church attending sunday school weekly and learned a lot about what was taught about the Bible. I would say I knew Jesus and would even say I loved him.

Yet, when I was eleven years old my life and relationship with God would radically change. Something inside me yearned to know God more intimately. I remember finding a place were I could be alone with God and found myself crying out to God, asking him to forgive me of my sins and to be the Lord of my Life. On that day something radically changed in my life, there was a supernatural transformation in my life. I felt as if God was with me in all I did and I know that I loved God unlike ever before.

Sometimes we can find ourselves attending church but never really being surrendered to God. Tradition, knowledge, and experience can lull us into a life where we know of God, but have never totally given our lives to God. We live without the benefit that comes into our life when we ask God to forgive us of your sins in Jesus' Name.

Having a real relationship with God does not come by being part of a church, nor does it come by being a good person. The Good News is that God loves you and He has already paid the price so you can have a real relationship with God.

Pray this prayer from your heart.

Dear Lord,

With all my heart I ask you to forgive me of my sins. I believe that Jesus died to pay the penalty for my sins. I believe that Jesus was raised from the dead, so that I might be given life and live with him forever. Father, forgive me of my sins and I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus was raised from the dead and receive you Jesus as my Savior and Lord.
In Jesus' Name I pray. Amen.

Now tell at least three people of your decision to give your life to God in Jesus name. When you pray use the name and authority of Jesus. God's word says that you need to be baptized in water. Read your Bible. Remember, not every church is the same, find a Church that teaches the full word of God.

Come to Life Church and introduce yourself, we would love to hear from you. Let us know about your decision to live for God, we want to pray with you.

At life Church we have a gift for you. We look forward to hearing from you. God has a great plan for your life!
